The construction of the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, a major infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity between Ahmedabad and the Dholera Smart City, is progressing well, with 71 km completed as of June 30, 2024. With a total length of 109 km, the expressway is on track for completion by the end of the 2024-25 financial year, reducing travel time between the two cities to just 40-45 minutes. The project, costing ?4,372 crores, will provide a seamless route that supports economic growth in Gujarat's Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR).
