Union Home Minister Amit Shah underscored the transformational growth Gujarat is experiencing, particularly in the sectors of semiconductors, electric vehicles (EVs), battery production, and green hydrogen. While campaigning for the BJP’s Ahmedabad East candidate, he emphasized that the state's equitable development policies, spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, are attracting massive investments across various industries. Shah also highlighted the rise of Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) as a key employment hub and an engine of growth for job-seekers from Ahmedabad and the surrounding areas. He revealed that the development of the region, which includes the Dholera International Airport and a ?33,000 crore Expressway, will lead to the creation of 10 lakh job opportunities. As the infrastructure continues to grow, Dholera SIR will provide a vibrant ecosystem for industries like semiconductors and EVs, driving both local employment and economic development for Gujarat.
