Tata Semiconductor Plant, Dholera

The Tata–PSMC fab is the cornerstone of India's semiconductor mission and the single largest anchor investment in Dholera Special Investment Region. Backed by the Government of India's Semicon India Programme and Gujarat's dedicated semiconductor policy, it marks the country's entry into high-end chip manufacturing.

Dholera has been declared a 'Semicon City' under the Gujarat Semiconductor Policy, with the fab attracting a wider ecosystem of suppliers, equipment makers and allied industries around it.

The facility is planned to manufacture chips on mature and specialty process nodes, serving high-growth sectors such as automotive electronics, artificial intelligence, power management, wireless communication and data storage.

With a planned capacity in the region of 50,000 wafers per month, the plant is designed to feed both domestic demand and global supply chains.

Beyond the 20,000+ direct and indirect jobs it is expected to create, the fab acts as a magnet for ancillary manufacturing, talent and urban demand. Each anchor industry of this scale accelerates the build-out of housing, retail and services across the region.

For investors, a project of this magnitude is the clearest possible signal of Dholera's long-term growth trajectory — and a key reason demand for well-located plots nearby continues to rise.
